We received this “beast” on Friday, June 10, 2016 and so far our first impressions are “This is going to be fun!!” At our dyno we were able to pull 250whp and 290wtq. Some may say “that is a huge difference between the 350hp advertised” YES! it is a huge difference, but with the overboost we got higher results closer to the advertised numbers, still trying to find out more on how “Project RS” behaves.

We were able to take the “beast” to a track test, some of the first impression being all stock are;

  • Fast and fun!!
  • Very responsive
  • Best feature is the track mode
  • Handles very well and braking is a beauty with the Brembo’s that come standard
  • More to come…..

We test fitted some parts that are made for the Focus ST and found that the rear motor mount from Cobb is a perfect fit on the Focus RS, and we’re currently testing it for durability and performance (browse our catalog of Focus RS parts here).

Below are some pictures we have taken of the RS as how we received it from the dealer, the exterior and interior far exceeds our expectations. The Recaro seats, Black 19″ wheels, and the Brembo brakes really accent the car very beautifully.

Keep coming back for more updates on our “Project RS” and like us on Facebook/kaizentuningllc and Instagram/kaizentuning for instant updates as we unleash the “beast” in her…..
